Estimates and Quotes

Estimates and quotes are based on the information you provide to us, such as inventory, access conditions, distance, and the scope of work requested. An estimate is not a binding contract and is not guaranteed until it is confirmed by us in writing. Because every move is different, your final charges will reflect the actual time, labor, materials, equipment, and services used to complete your move. If the scope of work changes on move day, or if the conditions differ from the information you provided, your charges may differ from the original estimate.

Scheduling, Arrival Windows and Cancellations

Any arrival time we provide is an estimated window, not a guaranteed time. Mountain weather, road conditions, traffic, and the length of preceding jobs can shift timing, and we will do our best to keep you informed of any changes. If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please contact us as far in advance as possible by calling (970) 291-9060 so we can release the crew and truck to another customer. Deposits may be non-refundable, and late cancellations or same-day cancellations may be subject to a fee.

Customer Responsibilities

To help your move go smoothly and safely, you are responsible for:

  • Providing safe and reasonable access to both the origin and destination, including clear pathways, walkways, and entryways.
  • Arranging adequate parking for our truck as close to the entrance as possible, and obtaining any parking or street-use permits that may be required.
  • Securing any necessary HOA approvals, building management approvals, elevator reservations, and complying with applicable building rules and move-in/move-out windows.
  • Disclosing high-value, fragile, or specialty items in advance so we can bring the appropriate equipment and valuation coverage.

Items We Cannot Move

For the safety of our crew and your belongings, and to comply with the law, we cannot transport certain items. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Hazardous, flammable, corrosive, or explosive materials such as propane tanks, gasoline, oil, paint, aerosols, chemicals, and cleaning solvents
  • Firearms ammunition and other explosive or combustible items
  • Perishable food, plants, and other items that can spoil or attract pests
  • Cash, coins, and negotiable financial instruments
  • Irreplaceable documents such as passports, wills, deeds, and other important records

We recommend that you personally transport cash, jewelry, medications, irreplaceable documents, and other high-value or sentimental items.

Liability and Claims

Unless you purchase higher valuation coverage, your belongings are protected by standard released-value liability, which provides limited protection based on the weight of the item rather than its actual value. Higher valuation coverage is available on request and must be arranged in writing before your move. To file a claim for loss or damage, please contact us in writing as soon as possible and no later than the time limit required under applicable law and your service agreement. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for normal wear, or for the contents and condition of cartons or boxes packed by the customer.

Payment

We accept common payment methods, which may include cash, major credit and debit cards, and other methods we agree to in advance. A deposit may be required to reserve your move date. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment in full is due upon completion of the move, before or at the time your belongings are unloaded. Past-due balances may be subject to late charges and reasonable costs of collection.

Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to our services are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Routt County, Colorado, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
